Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu polazi se od pojma darovitosti te njegove prisutnosti u školi. Ovaj rad bazira se na prepoznavanju te poticanju darovitosti u nižim razredima osnovne škole. U radu su također prikazane smjernice učiteljima te određene kompetencije koje svaki učitelj mora posjedovati ukoliko u razredu ima darovitog učenika. Prikazani su i problemi i poteškoće sa kojima se učenik može susresti ne adekvatnim obrazovanjem, a koje svojevrsno također mogu biti i pokazatelji darovitosti. U radu je prikazano i osobno iskustvo učiteljice darovitog učenika koje će nam na neki način usporediti teoriju i praksu odgoja i obrazovanja darovitog učenika.

This thesisis based on the term of giftedness as his attendance in school. This paper also is based on recognizing and encouraging of giftedness at lower grades in primary school. This paper also shownpresented guidelines for teachers also as certain competenciesthat each teacher must have if he in the class has gifted student. There are also shown and as problems as difficultieswith which the student can meet if he is not adequately educated, but which that sort can be an indicator of giftedness. In this paper is shown and personal experience of teachers of gifted student which will compare theory and practice of education of gifted student.
