Abstract
U modernom društvu u kojem živimo konstantno smo izloženi informacijama iz medija. Mediji, među njima i filmovi različitih žanrova prikazuju određena ponašanja i stavove uklopljene u njihove protagoniste koji mogu djelovati na gledateljevu percepciju stvarnosti, te utjecati na njihova očekivanja kako općenito o svijetu, tako i o spolno prihvatljivom ponašanju i o ljubavi. Cilj ovoga istraživanja je bio ispitati odnos preferencije romantičnog i triler filmskog žanra sa stavovima o ljubavi i iskustvom u romantičnim vezama (operacionalizirano kroz trajanje najdulje veze i broj prethodnih veza). U provedenom istraživanju je sudjelovalo 200 sudionika, 101 djevojka i 99 mladića, u rasponu od 18 do 27 godina. Za procjenu njihovog stava prema ljubavi korištena je hrvatska verzija Upitnika stava prema ljubavi (Bartolac, 2012 ). Preferencija filmskog žanra ispitivala se odgovaranjem na 6 pitanja unutar kojih su sudionici izražavali svoj stav o romantičnim i triler filmovima na skali od četiri stupnja (od uopće se ne slažem do potpuno se slažem). U ovome istraživanju utvrđeno je postojanje značajnih razlika u stavu prema ljubavi kada se u obzir uzme preferencija romantičnih i triler filmova. Sudionici koji izražavaju da češće gledaju trilere i više preferiraju triler filmove te istovremeno smatraju da su triler fimovi realističniji odraz stvarnog života od filmova romantične tematike imaju manje romantični (realističniji) stav prema ljubavi od sudionika koji se manje slažu s tim tvrdnjama i obrnuto. Nadalje utvrđeno je postojanje negativne povezanosti stava prema ljubavi i ukupnog broja veza u kojima su bili sudionici istraživanja. Dobivena je i negativna povezanost preferencije romantičnih filmova sa ukupnim brojem veza u kojima su ispitanici bili, te pozitivna povezanost preferencije triler filmova sa ukupnim brojem veza u kojima su ispitanici bili.
Abstract (english)
In the modern society we live in, we are constantly exposed to information from the media. The media, including films of various genres, show certain behaviours and attitudes embedded in their protagonists that can affect the viewer's perception of reality and affect their expectations of the world in general, as well as expectations of sexually acceptable behavior and perception of love. The aim of this research was to examine the relationship between romantic and thriller movies with the attitudes towards love and experiences in romantic relationships (operationalized through the length of the longest relationship and the number of previous relationships). The study included 200 participants, 101 women and 99 men, ranging from 18 to 27 years. In order to evaluate their attitude towards love, the Croatian version of the Questionnaire of Attitudes towards Love (Bartolac, 2012) was used. The preference of the film genre was measured by answering 6 questions within which the participants expressed their attitude about romantic and thriller films on a four-degree scale (I totally disagree with it to I completely agree with the statment). Results of this rearch show significant differences in attitudes towards love when considering the preference of romantic and thriller movies. Participants that express watching more often thriller movies, peferring thriller movies and at the same time believing that thrillers are a more realistic reflection of real life than romantic movies have less romanticistic (realistic) attitudes towards love than those who disagree with these claims and vice versa. To continue, there is a negative correlation between the attitude towards love and the total number of relationships participants were in at the time of the research. There was also a negative correlation between the preferences of romantic movies with the total number of relationships in which the respondents were and a positive correlation between the preference of thriller movies and the total number of relationships in which the respondents were.
