Abstract

Parallel abstract (English)
This thesis opens a wider view of the portraits in an art history, their origin, development and changes to the present day. Within the introducton of thesis, I reviewed the origin of the term of portrait and it's own genesis. I've researched development of the portrait in an art history, specifically pointing out a selected pieces in a wide period from Antique to the 20th century. I have reviewed development and progress of the portrait art and connected it with the portrait photographs in the end. In order to prove authentication of this thesis which states that art portrait is a very subjective work, I have done research within the third grade students of elementary school. Throughout the process of observation and analysis of children's drawings, I came to some conclusions about their physical, psychological and emotional development, and proved that every individual has their own aspect of others, highly affected by the emotional connection with the person they draw.
