Abstract
U ovom su radu opisane važne značajke mjesnoga govora Pražnica na otoku Braču na sve četiri jezične razine, odnosno u njemu su prikazane fonološke, morfološke, sintaktičke i leksičke osobitosti navedenoga idioma. Rad je nastao na temelju novijega terenskoga istraživanja u kojemu su, kao izvorni govornici, sudjelovali predstavnici triju dobnih skupina. Analizirana građa pokazuje da se govor mlađih ispitanika većim dijelom podudara sa starijim govornim stanjem, što u dijalektološkome smislu, ali i u drugima, ima izniman značaj.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the important features of the local speech of Pražnica, place situated on the island of Brač. Speech is described on all four levels of language, in which the phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical characteristics of the idiom are presented. The work is based on the latest field research in which representatives of three age groups participated as native speakers. The analyzed background shows that the speech of the younger respondents mostly coincides with the speech of the people who belong to older generation, which is in the dialectological sense, but however also in other ways, of extraordinary significance.
