Abstract
Satelitski pozicijski sustavi važan su dio elektroničke navigacije. Godinama su se razvijali i poboljšavali kako bi bili u stanju pružati kvalitetne usluge pozicioniranja korisnicima diljem svijeta. Razni sustavi razvijeni su u cilju stvaranja globalne mreže navigacijskih sustava koji funkcioniraju zajedno. U radu je prikazan pregled današnjih operativnih satelitskih pozicijskih sustava sa svojim osnovnim karakteristikama i načelom rada. S obzirom na to da se u radu satelitskih pozicijskih sustava javljaju greške, u radu je dan osnovni pregled augmentacijskih sustava za ispravljanje tih pogrešaka. Takvi augmentacijski sustavi mogu biti zemaljski ili svemirski. Kao i kod većine sustava moderne tehnologije, tako i kod satelitskih sustava za pozicioniranje, postoji mogućnost ometanja signala i hakiranja podataka, o čemu je također provedena kratka rasprava u ovom završnom radu.

Satellite positioning systems are an important part of electronic navigation. Over the years they were developed and enhanced in order to provide quality services of positioning for users across the globe. Various systems were developed with the goal of creating a global network of interoperable systems. This work gives an overview of today's operational satellite positioning systems along with their basic characteristics and working principles. Considering that the satellite positioning systems have errors, an overview of augmentation systems which correct those errors is given in this work. Those augmentation systems can be satellite based or ground based. As most modern technology systems, satellite positioning systems carry a risk of signal interruption and data hacking which is also a subject of brief discussion in this work.
