In the first theoretical part of the work, the concept of the knowledge of Fred Dretske will be reviewed, based on the reception of information from the environment. It will show what Dretske's concept of information is and how it is applied in the process of knowledge. It will describe the characteristics of the information - communication system, adapted from the mathematical communication theory, composed of the source of information generation, the communication channel as the information transfer medium and the destination or recipient information as well as the conditions applicable to the flow of information. Semantic theory of information with relevant information content will be displayed. The characteristics of perceptual knowledge will be explained according to the appropriate reception and processing information. The concept of beliefs will be considered in relation to the knowledge and the ways of learning and knowledge regarding the received information. In the second, empirical and research part of the thesis will be attempted to investigate, using the method of the questionnaire survey, the degree of intuitive agreement with Dretske's epistemological views and the acceptance of his concepts of information, knowledge and beliefs in the selected population.
