Abstract
Tematski je ovaj rad usredotočen na slikarstvo pejzaža u postimpresionizmu na temelju usporedbe opusa i stila trojice slikara: Paula Cézannea, Vincenta van Gogha i Paula Gauguina. Navedeni slikari u određenim se segmentima stila, ali i u načinu rada vrlo razlikuju, što kulminira u zrelim fazama njihovog slikarstva. Kroz poglavlja bit će razrađena njihova osjetilna percepcija koja utječe na određenu paletu boja, potez kistom, perspektivu i atmosferu na slici. Usporedbom će se utvrditi stilske sličnosti i razlike njihove impresionističke i postimpresionističke faze slikanja. Za utvrditi navedeno i zaključiti po čemu se opusi slikara razlikuju, idealno je promotriti upravo slikanje pejzaža, kroz koje su umjetnici najbolje mogli izraziti vlastito viđenje stvarnosti, percepciju tekstura prirodnih krajolika, svjetla i atmosfere. Slikanje pejzaža kao takvo zahtijeva senzibilnost i vještinu prikazivanja svog bogatstva detalja prirode, što sva tri umjetnika svakako posjeduju, ali iznose na potpuno različit način.
Abstract (english)
This paper is focused on landscape painting of post-impressionism based on the comparison of work and style of three painters: Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh and Paul Gauguin. The painters are very different in certain segments of style, but also in way of executing the work of art, which culminates at mature stage of their painting. Through the chapters, their sensory perception of landscape that impacts the color palette, brushstroke, the atmosphere in the painting and the spatial perspective, will be elaborated. The comparison of their work should determine similarities and differences of their impressionistic and post-impressionistic phase of painting. To determine the above and to conclude in which way the works of the painters differ, it is ideal to observe landscape painting, through which the artists could, in the best way, express their own perception of reality and textures of natural landscapes, of light and atmosphere. Landscape painting requires sensibility and skill to present all the wealth of details of nature, which all of the three artists have, but demonstrate in a completely different way.
